it's all in the maze, i have one that the creeps have to pass through atleast 4 times, then you just need the right combos, and some stuff for the captain crunch fliers

sandbox mode = a LOT of starting cash and life

like 10000000 and 1000 lives if i remember correctly

I did the same at first, didn't even realize you COULD place gems on the track, turns out you can place them anywhere EXCEPT the darker areas



Now once you have maze built you start removing rocks 5 at a time and placing your gems inside so you eventually end up with a whole bunch of gems all together.... note: on THIS game you can remove rocks during a round, the enemies register their route when round starts so they will walk around any holes you make while they are wandering around... note also in this map there used to be another rock above the first goal so it was completly blocked off i had to do that while building the maze or they would walk around instead of going in, you cannot build a maze that block stuff completly (of course) so i had to remove that block right before placing the one on the far right wall. the creeps must touch all 6 goals IN ORDER so they go back and forth through this map 4 times! which if you can get some good gems and are able to deal with the flyers (who ignore your maze cause they can fly over the rocks) will result in

a side note: the first 3 gems you place at the start of game may well always be a combo (atleast on hard and extreme) for this map i place those first three going down and the last 2 on top of first goal cause i don't want my special gem on top, and though i didn't in that pic i almost always reset game untill i get the special with a splash slow.... yellow, white, and blue

later in the game you want to stun more then slow cause creeps have a min. speed which nullifies a lot of the slowing effect, but in the beginning that gem is AMAZING, upgrade chances after first lvl, then upgrade that gem, then max out chances

Well you can imagine the hell I've been going through simply lining the path with gems LOL I did get as high as 109K (level 39?) once, but that's the most I've gotten.

I've been trying to wrap my mind around this new fangled idea you present....and I've been working on it. So far the best I've done is 111K (level 40), but I'll keep plugging along.

Have discovered a new map that requires the creeps to pass through it SEVEN times.... still need a decent amount of flying pain though... will run though again and post a screenie later, took one before but forgot to save it LMAO

had an uber gem too that i wanted to show you guys incase you don't know about them but the screenie is gone

if you don't know it is possible to get better then the perfect diamond (but VERY rare) if 2 of the same diamond come at at the same time you can combine them into an uber gem

well i managed to win but it was rough, had to repick a few times and buy a bunch of lives just about the worst luck i've ever had with gem selection really hampered upgrading my specials

but here's my new maze that requires walkers to pass though it 7 times =)



again i block off the top first to force the creeps into the maze while i'm still building it then unblock then top when i finish the rocks on top... for the rocks that aren't in the maze (like the top row) I try to place gems that i want to make specials with and then later build the specials in the maze.

I've gotten a few perfects, but never a diamond. I've gotten amethyst, emerald and sapphire. (not in the same game, though)

I like that map, I'm going to have to give that one a try. I'm working the extreme one now, finally beat normal and hard.

I forgot there was a gem called a diamond, when i said perfect diamond i was referring to shape, i just meant perfect gem lol

if you get two of the same perfects at a time you can combine them into an uber..... USUALLY only happens in sandbox mode when you have the money to repick gems a LOT but i did get it once in a regular game.... forgot to save screenshot =(

In survivor mode does it mean that there is no end? I got to level 55 (2 million points) I was going to do a screenshot when I saw I was going to lose, but got sidetracked while I waited for my graphics program to open and accidently copied something else, losing my SS So was I close to finishing or is there no finish to be had in that level?
