After trying to answer some of Highcastles riddles he asked me to post one. I posted this but thought it might be interesting to see what people here would do.

Here is something I heard in college. It may not necessarily be a
riddle but the answers are always interesting. Please give why you
would do whatever you choose.



You are driving down the road in a two seater car. It's dark, it's
raining. As you drive you see 3 people by the side of the road. One is
your true love, one is injured and needs medical attention, and one has
saved your life previously. What do you do?

hmm, well, seeing how I know 2 of them, I feel confident in picking them up, so we pile all 4 of us in this little 2 seater and hope the hospital is not too far off. If it is too far off I'd then look for a diner to drop 2 of them while I take the injured party to the hospital.

I used to have a carmen kia and one day my friend and I were heading to a concert. We saw 2 guys on the side of the hwy with an overheated engine so I pull over to see if we could help. Turned out they were also going to the same concert, and there were 4 of them not 2. Believe it or not 6 of us piled into my lil carmen kia....ahhhh, good times.

OR

I'd give the saved my life guy the keys to take the injured to the hospital and walk with my true love in the rain....gotta love walking in the rain.

Nice response. This question was given to me in college. We were told that it was originally used as part of an interview to see if anyone could find a solution adequate for all parties. Most people could not. Most people in fact will respond that they would take one of the individuals only and then justify their response accordingly. There is not necessarily a right or wrong answer but there is the one answer that solves the problem for everyone. I did not expect to have an answer so swiftly. Good job. Poke your head into the game forums and you can see what I mean about most people only selecting one person to take with them. I'm waiting to see how long it takes for someone there to give the same response you did.

Haha, I like MM's answer. I guess since I live in Seattle I'm used to the rain...I'm sure my love wouldn't mind either.

I lived 20 years near Seattle and I have to say the rain in NC is WAAAAYYYY cooler. I thought I was getting sick of the rain until I moved here. Here the rain is almost always accompanied by lightening (always cool) and it has a whole new kind of intensity that one only sees occasionally in Puget Sound. The last few years I lived in WA, we hardly had any rain in the Summer, but here? yeesh, rained a lot LOL...go figure.

One thing that was hard for me to adjust to is they would often cancel school for rain ROFL Nothing would get done in Puget Sound all winter long, if they had the same policy.

However, to their defense, this place is built on a swamp so flooding is much more an issue.

Glocknare, I think we are a bunch of weirdo's in this house. My sons answer was to let one of them drive and to put the hurt guy in the trunk

I guess I could have said there was no trunk but I guess the response would have been to tie him to the roof. Lol.

Ummm....

True love gets left there.... She'd break me eventually anyway.
I speak from experience.

The injured guy gets left there.... I dont need blood all over my car.
Blood is Icky.

The guy who saved my life... He gets left behind too because it'll teach him an important life lesson.

Yes, you should also add that you purposefully splash them with water as you drive by. That will about cover it all.
