| ok, the weird places one ends up ... thought this could be interesting... So today I was on youtube. Actually I went last night to see if I could find footage of an old style news editorial, with rebuttal. So today I restart the search. I started watching news blooper kinds of things. I have been having a discussion via pm on the main forum, and finally said basically the same thing as you. As a Christian I could never participate in American Churches. (not that I have any clue what churches anywhere else in the world are....but yeesh, this kid I was talking with could easily be swayed into joining such an outrageous group and think nothing of it, at least that's how his posts to me have been coming off. I was going to show him the video, but decided against it, as I don't want them to reach 100 member status LOL I mean what if he found it appealing rather than being repulsed like the rest of us?)
@L1nk, it surely makes a case against the "divine retribution" claims, don't it.
I showed my son the video today and he was shaking his head, "how can anyone....?"

| I have a church that i happily attend, though i've not become an official "member" because i also don't believe in denominations, but their message is good and they often seem to know the difference between faith and religion. somehow 98% of the "believers" out there manage to miss the fact that the vast majority of it states quite simply that nobody is perfect and no one has the right to pass judgment on another. i wonder if they will ever read the pages they skipped and learn that the way you judge others is the judgement you will bring upon yourself...... |

| Same here, when I lived in WA state. I haven't really investigated the churches here, but they are denominational, and the denomination I belonged to in WA isn't represented here, so .... well that and Sunday mornings are a pretty unreliable time for me
