Coconut Water

Coconut Water is an excellent source of electrolytes and especially a good drink for runners and athletics.

Coconut Water

Ingredients

1 quart water (we use distilled)
2 tablespoons honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
water of one coconut (see the video below)

Directions

Heat 1/2 cup of the water to boiling, remove from heat, add honey and salt, stir until dissolved. Add the remaining water and coconut water to a 1/2 gallon size pitcher, pour in the honey water and stir to combine. Refrigerate until ready to use.
