Guacamole Recipe Ingredients
We have:

red onions
lime
lemon
Serrano peppers
cilantro
avocados
salt and pepper

Marinate Guacamole Ingredients
The first thing that you do to make guacamole is use 1 tablespoon of chopped red onions, and the equivalent of 1 Serrano pepper finely minced. You can use the seeds, but if you add them it will be much spicier. Add salt, a little pepper not too much. And then you begin squeezing limes. So basically we're forming a marinade and what that does is it takes the bitterness away from the onions.

For every 3 avocados add one full lime. We're just going to let this sit for a while, ideally you would want this to sit for approximately 10 minutes before you add the avocado.

Add Cilantro to Guacamole Mixture
While that's marinating you can chop your cilantro. You want to chop your cilantro right before you add it. If you let it sit for a half hour it can taste soapy. We're just going to add the cilantro on top of here.
Prepare Avocados
Next thing we're going to do is open the avocados and this is kind of a trick. Make sure that you take the top out of it. You slice the avocado vertically completely around it, open it, open the next avocado.

Guacamole is only as good as the avocado that you buy for it. You really want your avocados soft but not too mushy. You want them just to give when you touch them. So that's how you would shop for an avocado.

So the next thing that you would do is take the pit out. If you're finding that the pits are really not coming out of the avocado, you have an avocado that is not gonna make good guacamole. The next thing that we do is we scoop the flesh out of the avocado. Make sure that you take all the peel off when you're making your guacamole.
Mash Together Guacamole Ingredients
We're going to add 3 avocados. Then all we do to finish this process is we mash it. You're going to want to find a home-sized potato masher which will make it much easier. Or you can also use a fork. The more that you mash it, the smoother your guacamole will be. Of course as soon as avocados hit air they begin to oxidize and turn gray. We just add a little lemon at the end-- just that much a little sprinkle-- and that will keep the avocados greener for longer. There you go.
